StemoniX makes it possible to test medication on humans without that medicine ever entering their bodies. 

July 8, 2017 - Stemonix looks to eliminate 'guinea pig medicine.' Stemonix products allow doctors to see how drugs and human cells react without risking a person's health.

July 24, 2017 - Pairnomix has joined efforts with StemoniX to develop a lab-based model of epileptic seizures using so-called induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs).

The model, which researchers refer to as a “seizure-in-a-dish” model system, will allow scientists to study seizures at a network level. In this way, they can use the model to screen for anti-epileptic drugs in a fast and easy manner.

In this series, we go deeper in analyzing individual companies in our own backyard and discuss how they grew their startup. In conjunction with the 13th annual MN Cup awards, we highlight last year’s grand prize winner, StemoniX.
